AMSOIL EA Air Filters
AMSOIL Ea Carbureted Engine Air Filters & Kits
AMSOIL Ea® Racing Air Filters (EaAR) are specially designed for racing and street rod enthusiasts who desire AMSOIL quality and protection in carbureted applications. AMSOIL Ea Racing Air Filters are constructed with nanofiber technology. This synthetic media ranks among the most efficient available and provides better airflow and more capacity than cellulose filters.
AMSOIL Ea Racing Air Filter Kits provide racers with more power through Ea airflow lids. The airflow lids are constructed using AMSOIL Ea synthetic media, providing additional filtration area. They feature a polished aluminum trim ring with AMSOIL logos etched on the surface. Not only do Ea airflow lids add filter area, they actually redirect air inside the filter to pull more air through the side pleats for even greater performance efficiency. AMSOIL Ea Racing Air Filter kits provide more airflow than competing assemblies.
AMSOIL Ea Pre-Filters
AMSOIL now offers Ea Pre-Filters (EaPF) for racing and off-road applications. AMSOIL Ea Pre-Filters prevent large particles from sticking to EaAR and EaAU Filters and blocking the flow of air.
Racers and off-road enthusiasts subject their vehicles to some of the most severe conditions possible. These vehicles operate in areas of heavy dirt and mud that gets slung into every crack and corner, often clogging air filters. AMSOIL Ea Pre-Filters are designed to keep larger particles from getting into and clogging the pleats of air filters. When an air filter is clogged, the engine loses horsepower and, in the case of Ea Air Filters, the filter must be cleaned. There is no vacuum or compressed air available on the race track or out in the swamp, but an Ea Pre-Filter is easily removed and shaken free of debris in seconds.
PowerCore®Filter For Ford 6.0L Diesel PowerStroke™
AMSOIL offers premium air filters that utilize PowerCore® filtration technology for Ford 6.0L Diesel PowerStroke® and GM –6.6L Duramax Diesel applications. The rugged structure of PowerCore® filters features an innovative, layered, fluted filter media, which allows air to enter an open flute while forcing it out an adjacent flute, allowing only clean air into the engine. Dirty air is effectively filtered and cleaned in only one pass through the media.
The rugged structure and fluted media construction of these PowerCore filters provide increased contaminant holding capacity, more efficiency and eliminate media movement.
PowerCore Filter for GM 6.6L Duramax Diesel
AMSOIL offers premium air filters that utilize PowerCore® filtration technology for Ford 6.0L Diesel PowerStroke® and GM –6.6L Duramax Diesel applications. The rugged structure of PowerCore® filters features an innovative, layered, fluted filter media, which allows air to enter an open flute while forcing it out an adjacent flute, allowing only clean air into the engine. Dirty air is effectively filtered and cleaned in only one pass through the media.
In filters featuring PowerCore technology, the media is formed into flutes. These flutes are layered to give tight, rugged structure to the filter. The fluted channels are alternately sealed allowing air to enter through an open flute and forcing it to exit out an adjacent flute. Dirty air travels in and is filtered in one pass through the media.
AMSOIL Ea Universal Air Induction Filters
AMSOIL now offers universal air induction filters (EaAU) designed to replace stock oil wetted gauze or foam conical filters that were supplied with custom induction systems. AMSOIL Ea Air Induction Filters offer better efficiency, excellent airflow and are cleanable.
The basic purpose of the air intake system is to bring cool air from outside the engine compartment into the engine. The cooler air is denser than the air found within the hot engine compartment. The denser charge contains more oxygen than warmer air, providing better combustion through a more effective air/fuel mixture.
Another advantage of most specialty-equipment cold air intakes is their consistent diameters and the absence of sharp bends, both of which help to eliminate turbulence in the air stream.

AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters
AMSOIL Ea® Oil Filters (EAO, EA15K) feature advanced full-synthetic media that traps and holds a greater amount of small, wear-causing contaminants compared to conventional filters. They provide extended service intervals for increased convenience, while helping reduce engine wear.
Efficiency is the filter's ability to capture contaminants. The more efficient a filter is, the more contaminants it will remove from the oil. AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters have one of the best efficiency ratings in the automotive/light-truck market. Ea Oil Filters provide a filtering efficiency in accordance with industry standard ISO 4548-12 of 98.7 percent at 20 microns, while competitive filters demonstrate efficiencies as low as 51 percent (see graph).
AMSOIL Ea Heavy Duty Oil Filters
Ea Heavy-Duty Oil Filters have lower restriction than conventional cellulose media filters. Their small synthetic fibers trap smaller particles and hold more contaminants, resulting in lower restriction. During cold-temperature warm-up periods, an Ea Heavy-Duty Oil Filter allows the oil to flow through the filter more easily than a typical cellulose filter. Lower restriction helps circulate oil more quickly, promoting long engine life.
Ea® Heavy-Duty Oil Filters are made with premium-grade full-synthetic media. The strictly controlled processing of this media ensures accurate filter construction.
Over the service life of a conventional cellulose filter, hot oil can degrade the resins that bind the media. Ea Heavy-Duty Oil Filters' full-synthetic media technology is resin-free. It uses a wire screen backing that is pleated with the media for superior strength.
Ea Heavy-Duty Oil Filters are constructed with HNBR gaskets that are fully tested over long durations in numerous severe environments. The filters also feature fully tucked seams, a molded element seal, roll-formed threads and a long-lasting, premium-grade silicone anti-drain valve.
